How to get involved
Can I volunteer or work for Luna Festival?
Thank you for your interest in getting involved with LUNA Festival. LUNA is fuelled by dedicated and passionate staff and volunteers. Working and volunteering with LUNA is an opportunity to foster connections, learn new skills, and be a valuable member of this creative community festival. Please fill out THIS FORM to let us know your availability, skillset, and why you would make a great LUNA Ambassador!
What kind of commitment are you looking for?
We are currently looking for both volunteers (pre and post-festival) and paid staff (during the festival) who can commit to 1-4 days of work, 4-8 hours per day (this will depend on the position).
What kind of positions are available?
There’s a variety of roles we are looking for help with, including set-up/set-down, art team (decoration/signage), venue staff (doors/ticketing), bartending, artist relations, LUNA Art hosts, transportation, and more.
We are no longer accepting media submissions at this time. Please contact us next year if you’d like to get involved with your media skills.
Bike / Walk
We will have several points of entrance throughout downtown Revelstoke. We highly recommend that you bike or walk downtown, as many downtown streets will be closed off and parking will be very limited. There will be many bike parking options available downtown, just remember to bring your bike lock!
There will be no designated parking spots available for LUNA. If you must drive, people with disabilities can park at the Grizzly Plaza. Otherwise, you can try parking on Victoria Street (RV/Trailer parking on the side where the train is) or you might need to park your vehicle a few blocks away and walk in. Please be respectful of residents and business owners when finding a parking space for your vehicle.
We strongly recommend walking, biking, or dancing your way downtown.
What to bring?
Bring your government issued ID for entrance to each LUNA Sound venue and cash should you wish to purchase drinks from the bar.
Dress for the weather; this time of the year can bring rain and even below-freezing temperatures. That being said, this is a festival after all… Let’s see you bring out the funkiest festive attire and become part of the LUNA magic!
What not to bring?
Please remember that LUNA festival is happening in public space and normal laws will apply. Prohibited items will include alcohol, illegal substances, weapons, fireworks/flares, fire-dancing equipment, etc.
Safety & Accessibility
We will have several outhouses spread throughout downtown. There are also public washrooms next to the Grizzly Plaza parking lot.
Dogs and other pets will not be allowed on the grounds of LUNA Arts. However, service pets will be allowed.
